`length`

Get the length of the array; for a 2-D array, it returns the entire length, i.e., the length of the "serialized" version of the array.

Syntax

y = length ( x )
y = x.length (  )

Outputs / Return Value

y: For a non-audio variable or a contiguous audio signal, y is a constant scalar showing the length of the array. If x has null portions, y is a time sequence showing the length of each segment.

Notes

If x is an audio signal, it must not be a stereo signal.
