When used as a binary operator, ~ performs time-frequency scaling on an audio signal.
Syntax

Operands and Result
| x | y | z |

Notes
- This time-compresses
xby a factor ofy. - At the same time, it expands frequency content as if the audio were played back at a different sample rate.
- This simulates playback of audio samples with a rate different from the original sample rate.
- This operator is not commutative.
