~ for Time Indexing
Inside an audio indexing expression, ~ selects a time interval in milliseconds.
Syntax
x(t1 ~ t2)

Notes
x(t1 ~ t2)extracts the portion ofxfromt1ms tot2ms.- If
t1 > t2, the extracted segment is time-reversed.
Example
Open a .wav file "spring" and extract from 527 ms to 633 ms.
AUX> x=wave("spring");
AUX> y=x(527~633);
To reverse the sound in time:
AUX> x=x(end~0);
